Great contextualization. Climate change has always been real. The bigger question I have is why did we pick the specific CO2 and temperature baselines that we did and why did we then decide they can never deviate from that?

This is a reminder that we can acknowledge that climate change is real and a problem, but one that is solvable.
Continued human progress in energy efficiency and new sources of energy will solve this problem…if we allow the problem to be solved.
