Thanks for reading Gale Winds. Note that $36.50 represents wages and benefits. Wages are typically around 75% of compensation. Benefits have grown significantly over the past 30 years.

I love your work and always appreciate your optimism, and I feel the same way about progress and our future, and long as economic freedom continues. But, $36.50 seems high. That’s about $76,000 per year. Most of my neighbors make nowhere near that. Is that a nationwide average? Also, was $0.51 per hour an average as well or a minimum.
