Toys Are 30 Percent More Abundant Than Before the Pandemic
More good news for parents with kids.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics is reporting that toy prices have decreased by 5.85 percent since the fall of 2019. Since then time blue-collar hourly wages have increased by 22.9 percent. This would indicate that the time price has decreased by 23.4 percent. For the time it took to earn the money to buy one toy in 2019, you get 1.305 toys today. Toy abundance has increased by 30.5 percent. Merry Christmas.
